You survived. Now let’s figure out what works better.
Many people come to me when something's shifted. That could be a relationship ending, a loss they're carrying, a life that doesn't feel like it fits anymore. Some have been through therapy before. Some haven't and don't really know what to expect.
Therapy is tailored for you. My approach depends on who you are, your struggles and challenges, and what you need to help you live a happier and more fulfilled life. So that's where I start: with you.
I can help with…
People come to me for a lot of different reasons. Here are some of the moments that tend to bring people through the door:
Life Transitions
A move, a career stage, a relationship that's ending or already ended. Something big shifted, and you're looking to find your footing moving forward.
Anxiety, Overwhelm & Depression
Anxiety and depression can show up in sneaky ways: perfectionism, racing thoughts, exhaustion, even uncomfortable physical sensations. Together we'll figure out what's underneath it and work to heal it from within and with practical strategies to help you in your daily life.
Trauma & Emotional Wounds
Whether from long ago or more recent, trauma and relationship wounds don't just imprint on how we show up in the present. Together, we'll unpack it slowly so you can see the life that reflects who you are.
Meaning Making
We all deserve to find a sense of meaning in our lives. Sometimes it's less about a single moment and more about wanting to understand how you got to where you are — and how you want to write the rest of your story.
Midlife & Menopause
I've worked with dozens of women navigating menopause — not just the symptoms, but everything it opens up. The questions about who you are now. What you want the next chapter to look like. I'm here to help you move through it and emerge more yourself than ever.
Andropause (male menopause)
As testosterone drops, men go through their own hormonal shift, often called male menopause. It can look like low energy, restlessness, or a midlife reckoning with what it all means. Most men don't think of it as having symptoms, so it often goes unnamed. If this sounds like you, or someone you love, it's real, and we can talk about it.
Relationships
Relationships are often where the real work shows up, and where healing can happen. Whether you're navigating divorce, dating, or trying to heal old patterns, I'm here to support you through it.
Grief & Loss
Grief can look a lot of ways: a death, a divorce, or the end of a chapter of your life that will never be the same. Grief doesn't move in a straight line, and I can help you as you navigate the twists and turns.
How I work
Sitting with people through their hardest moments has taught me that healing doesn't look the same for any two people. I use a variety of different modalities in my work:
-
CBT is a type of “tool kit” that helps you notice how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are all connected and how changing one can change the others. It’s a way of rewiring habits in your brain that don’t serve you anymore.
-
Psychodynamic therapy dips below the surface to help you realize that you might be repeating old, painful patterns without even knowing it. It is learning about your history and finding the root cause of why you might be using skills and habits that no longer work for you.
-
Humanistic therapy teaches you self compassion and how to learn and accept yourself so that you gain the confidence to become the truest, happiest, and most authentic version of yourself.
-
Dialectical behavior therapy is a form of therapy to help you learn skills to manage your feelings and intense emotions. It helps you learn what to do when you feel that your emotions are “too much” for you and might feel out of your control.
You may be wondering…
-
I work with older teens, young adults and adults of all ages struggling with some aspect of their life. Folks I work with want strategies on how to feel better and accomplish their goals and are also often curious as to what is driving their struggle. They want to make some sort of a change in their life and might feel stuck with where they are.

Let’s talk. We can chat and discuss what you might be struggling with and see if working together makes sense.
-
Great question! We will first start with a chat on the phone about what you’re looking for and how I can help. Then, if it makes sense, we can meet in person and discuss further. You’ll be able to tell quite quickly whether or not my style works for you and we can discuss this together.
-
Therapy isn’t always linear. There are many reasons why therapy may not have felt helpful in the past and we can discuss this honestly and openly and figure out how this time will be different.
-
There is no specific timeframe for therapy as healing and reaching your goals are totally dependent on your history, your struggles and what your goals are now. We will discuss goals often and will figure out together what makes sense for you.
